Catch the magic of sunrise over Wave Rock
The tour begins at Hippo's Yawn, with a walk exploring the unique rock formations and then climb to the top of the granite outcrop to experience the amazing 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. (There is an opt-out route if participants choose not to walk to the top.) Follow your tour guide to walk past the Hyden water catchment area and fireplace then down to the bottom of the rock to view the hidden, ancient hand stencils. Along the way identify animal tracks left overnight as we return back along the base to the famously known, culturally significant 'Wave’ in the granite, where your guide shares Dreaming stories of Katter Kich and cultural insights into the unique rock formations and flora along the way.
