This is Go Beyond’s signature tour experience. Our Northern Beaches Tours begin with morning pickup at your centrally located Sydney accommodation. Board an air-conditioned minivan for the scenic drive to Ku-ring-gai Chase. This is where you will learn about the local Aboriginal culture, while bush walking to see ancient cave art and sacred rock engraving sites.
Next, check out the Pittwater waterways breathtaking coastal drive over to the famous Palm Beach, home to the rich and famous and Australia’s favourite soap opera, Home & Away, where you will take a tour around the area’s many mansions. We check out all of Home & Away’s vital filming locations, such as the Summer Bay Surf Club, Alf’s Bait Shop, the Palm Beach Pier and the Lighthouse.

What are you covid policies?
You can cancel at the last minute and you will not incur any cancellation fee or penalty. Indeed, if you are feeling a bit unwell in the hours, days or weeks prior to your tour booking, we’d kindly ask you to cancel your reservation. We’d much prefer you focus on your health than risk the spread of the virus. If the regional borders are closed again or your travel plans are impacted by Corona Virus, you can cancel with no fee, no charge. The vehicle is thoroughly and hygienically cleaned on a daily basis. Hand sanitiser will be provided to guests.
Tours will only be conducted on a Private Tour basis for the foreseeable future to ensure safe distancing protocols
What Time & where will my tour start?
As it is your private tour, the start-time is up to you. We do recommend an early start for a full-day tour of 7+ hours. Your tour includes pick-up and drop-off to your Sydney hotel, alternative central Sydney location, cruise ship or the airport.
What about Lunch and entry fees?
Yes, these are provided on our Northern Beaches Tour, but not on our other Sydney Tours. On these other tours lunch and attraction entrance fees are not included in your tour price. We do not add them to give you more flexibility on your tour – so you can choose when and what type of cafe or restaurant you’d like to dine in.
Indicative admission fees for each tour’s options can be provided based on standard adult rates (concessions apply for children/students/elderly and families)
Your guide will be happy to recommend a good cafe or restaurant for your lunch, depending on your location when you feel hungry or need a break.
Can I share my tour with another group?
Yes, our Northern Beaches Tour is a shared tour, but all our other Sydney Tours are not combined groups. These other Sydney tours are all fully catered towards individual private groups.
Can I customise my tour?
Absolutely, our Sydney tours are very flexible. We will design your tour around your specific interests and preferred pace.
Do I get a discount if I book more than one tour?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for second and subsequent tours.
Do you do tours in another language?
Unfortunately, our tours are offered only in English at this time.
Is the guides gratuity included in the price?
Gratuities are completely at your discretion. However, if you are happy with the service provided by your guide, a gratuity is always very much appreciated (usually 10% to 15% of the cost of the touring rate).
Can You arrange transfers to our city hotel?
Depending on your arrival time, it may make sense for your driver-guide to collect you at the airport. You can then begin your Sydney tour, before dropping you to your hotel. If you are arriving early and think you may like to do this, request a quote for a combined transfer and tour, here.
We can provide stand-alone airport transfers to and from your Sydney hotel just ask us for a quote.
How far in advance should I book?
It’s best to book as soon as you have confirmed your travel dates, as our tours do get booked well in advance. Please still get in touch for your last minute requests, too, as our schedules can sometimes change. We will always do our best to accommodate you.
Can I pay With Credit Card?
Yes, you can pay by PayPal using your credit card before the tour date, by Bank Transfer, or thru our online payment system on our website.
Do You provide child seats?
Yes, we provide child and infant car seats free of charge during our tours. Please advise us at time of booking so we can install it in the vehicle prior to the tour. Under Australian traffic law, young children up to age 7 must be restrained in an approved child or booster seat.
Does your tour cater for reduced mobility ?
Yes, the bus has a number of very useful handrails, and also a portable step can be provided for further accessability in entering/ leaving the bus. Further, we can easily tailor the tour’s stops and sights so as not include the locations that required excessive walking for a guest who is not as mobile.

These are our terms and conditions for the tours. They are standard rules and list the rights and obligations of the organiser (MJB Tours Pty Ltd) and the customer. If you have questions, please let us know.
At time of reservation, any type of disability or medical issues must be made known to MJB Tours Pty Ltd and in how far these may affect your enjoyment of the tour or its enjoyment by others. If you fail to do so at time of reservation, MJB Tours Pty Ltd remains the right to cancel your tour without any liability on the part of MJB Tours Pty Ltd.
MJB Tours Pty Ltd reserves the right, at its discretion, to exclude from or terminate a tour, without refund, anyone who:
- Is unable to cope with the requirements of the bus or walking tour or who may need or require services of facilities which are not available
- Fails to comply with the reasonable instructions of MJB Tours Pty Ltd personnel
- Engages in illegal or undesirable behaviour or who interferes with the enjoyment of or jeopardises the safety of other tour participants.
Anyone so excluded will be required to disembark at a safe public location, transport from which will be wholly their responsibility.
You agree that MJB Tours Pty Ltd is released from all liability for, and you agree not to hold MJB Tours Pty Ltd responsible for the termination of your travel arrangements in accordance with the previous condition, or any decision made by MJB Tours Pty Ltd or by any service provider who refuses to provide you with special services that are not available or who refuses to carry you by reason of any disability or medical condition.
Every effort is made to deliver tours as listed in the travel agreement, however they are indicative only and no guarantee can be made and no compensation shall be payable in the event of missed connections or amended tours due to unforeseeable change of weather and road conditions. The safety of all passengers is highest priority and MJB Tours Pty Ltd guarantees compliance with all State and Federal laws. MJB Tours Pty Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for death or illness/injury to any person. It is the passenger’s responsibility to exercise due diligence and duty of care at all times whilst on tour and to follow directions given by tour driver/guides at all times. Passengers accept all risk associated with tour activities. Any personal items lost or stolen are the responsibility of the passenger.
Payments:
Exchange rates will be taken on the day of invoicing using the day exchange rate of OANDA. Types of payment: bank transfer, credit card or cash (on agreement).
Cancellations/ Refunds & Returns:
- Customer cancellation up to and including 14 days prior to tour: free of charge
- Customer cancellation between 13-7 days before tour date: 50% per person
- Customer cancellation between 6 and 3 days before tour date: 75% per person
- Customer cancellation within 48 hours of tour date: 100% per person
- Cancellations by MJB Tours Pty Ltd due to weather or traffic conditions or by third parties will result in a full refund or an alternative date or tour of equal value.
Total Required Passenger Numbers For The Tour To Proceed:
- Minimum Number: Two Adults
- Itinerary subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances
Privacy laws: all personal details will be collected for the tour only and will stay with MJB Tours Pty Ltd. They will only be disclosed to third parties in an emergency or if required by law
